THAT COLOURS, THE NEW COMERS

©Luis Henry Agudelo Cano, Salto Al Truinfo

All those talented photographers are in competition for the Sony World Photography Awards which will take place in April. Red is the perfect colour that gives this little spice to the pictures.

THIS BLACK & WHITE

It's like we're just in front of the man! Don't know how the photographer worked that picture to the point where we can even see the wrinkles of his hand.

IT'S BEYOND PASSION

Through that picture, we can feel the love of this mother for her child. Dark gold colour, closed eyes plus the embrace. There's no higher passion than that feeling.

A BEAUTIFUL SADNESS

Picture by John Moore of a woman at Arlington National Cemetery mourning her fiance who was killed in Iraq. The colors of that scene make the pain of this lady so emotional and so lovely.

L.A. IN A BLACK & WHITE

N.Y. IN A BLACK & WHITE

WHEN THE HOUSE IS THE MAIN CHARACTER

Love the color bricks of that august house. It gives a sweet melancholy to the picture... More than the girl in a jumping pose.

THE NEW GENTLEMEN

Rag & Bone in the Best New Designers in America theme of Feb. by GQ. Chic & Sexy.

Obedient Sons, in the Best New Designers in America theme of Feb. by GQ. Chic & Trendy.

THE GAP

Don't know about you people, but the way the lady is sitting, her sad look, the bottle of alcohol in front of her, and the fact she is in a strange bar, dressed classy, holding her necklace, makes feel all her pain.

SPORTSMEN MODELING

Picture, as the same just below, comes from a photo serie by GQ. Simple but I love the color. Same ones as a mafia movie...

ANOTHER TRAGEDY SCENE...

This is crazy how black & white photography gives more drama to some scenes.
If that picture was in color, we would only see a man running in a forest... doing some work out.
Here, in black & white, with this shadow in the background, the same man looks like he's running away from something... someone...

FUNNY KIDNAPPING

MORE AND MORE AMAZING SHE IS

Nathalie Portman introducing her first collection of shoes designed for Té Casan. Always wonderful, she makes me thing of the bellissima Italian women there.
